Our Ozark Section had a great day with John and Dottie Miller guiding 18 members from Missouri and Arkansas including Springfield, Little Rock, Holiday Island, Greenwood and Northwest Arkansas. We drove through the Pig Trail and Boston Mountain highways starting in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and made several stops at scenic spots for photos. Our Section is always so privileged to have John Miller lead our caravans with his experience as a retired State Police Officer; he never fails to treat us to some awesome sights. Our timing for this driving event was perfect to see the tree leaves changing to orange, red and yellow throughout the Ozarks. Our members closed out the drive with lunch at the Post Winery Trellis Room Restaurant in Altus, Arkansas, known for wonderful scratch cooking and home-made desserts. The Post Winery is popular for its Muscadines and red wines. On your visits they always offer free tastings; they also have a wide selection of wine accessories. Special thanks go to Anthony Ciabattari, a great Service Advisor at the NWA Mercedes-Benz dealership, who showcased an E450 Wagon and presented members Mercedes-Benz hats and insulated mugs.
