John and Dottie Miller have planned our Annual Membership Recognition Event at Lake Fort Smith State Park pavilion on September 17, 2022, which includes a Cajun Shrimp Boil. The event is still in the planning stages; however, we already know you will enjoy the peel and eat shrimp and crawfish with corn on the cob, new potatoes, sausage and Cajun music. The State Park is on Old Highway 71, in the Boston Mountains in the northern part of Crawford County, and it’s very easy to find. The Millers have reserved the pavilion at the park and the event will start at noon. This pavilion has about nine large picnic style tables, all under cover. The restrooms are close to the pavilion. All necessary items, such as corn on the cob holders and boats, bibs, butter dishes and paper towels will be available. There will be soft drinks, water and ice. If you plan to attend but if you are allergic to seafood or particularly shell seafood, please let the Millers know so that they can look for an alternative. The event will be paid for by the MBCA Ozark Section; just come and enjoy yourselves. Mark your calendars for September 17 and join us for this Annual Membership Recognition Event. It will be a wonderful time! Email John or Dottie Miller for further questions you may have as of now: [email protected]
