The Ozark Section held its first club event in 2021 on Saturday, April 10, at the Arkansas Air and Military Museum in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We had a great turnout of twenty-four members attending a guided tour, which allowed us to even get inside the cockpits of restored aircraft, helicopters and military vehicles. We were very impressed with the quality of the displays and the museum tour guide. This is a must-see location that is an amazing resource showcasing aviation history in our Northwest Arkansas area. The Hopkinses from Little Rock and the Thomases from Springfield, Missouri, came the farthest to participate in this event. We topped off the event at a local restaurant favorite for Arkansas Razorback teams and fans, The Catfish Hole. The seafood selections and portions were great, which is why it is so popular. Thanks also go to Barbara Lowinger for the great job sponsoring the event and Dottie Miller for her photos. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for a lot more photos of this fun event as we toured the museum exhibits.
